Latest govt job notification: Position of Senior Research Fellow (Last date for the receipt of applications 24-07-2020 and appear for the interview on 29-07-2020 at 11.30 AM) - Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics

Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Senior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- + 16% HRA p.m. fixed for 1^st and 2^nd year and @ Rs. 35000/ + 16% HRA p.m. fixed for 3^rd year provided in the scheme entitled “Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) on Hybrid technology for high productivity in selected field and horticultural crops- Rice ICAR-79 (PC-2346)” in Rice Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:

1. B.Sc.(Agri.)/Biosciences/Biotechnology/Forestry with minimum OCPA 6.0/10.0 or 60 % marks.
2. M.Sc. Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics ‘crop plants’/Biosciences/Biotechnology/ Forestry with minimum OCPA 6.5/10.00 or 65% marks.

Note:-1.The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II:The candidates having Post Graduate degree in subjects mentioned above, but having Bachelor’s degree with three years must have passed NET and two years experience. However, the Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Note-III: Desirable: Experience/ Research work in relevant field.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 24-07-2020. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 29-07-2020 at 11.30 A.M in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
